Financial Insitution Contact Center

Requirement: authenticate callers before allowing access to financial services.

Risk: someone other than account holder gains access to account with fraudulent intentions.​​​​​

Typical Authentication Methods: use knowledge-based security questions, secret PINs or passphrases, answers to personal information, one-time passcodes, or voice biometrics to authenticate.

Risks with Typical Authentication Methods: data breaches and social engineering make security questions, secret PINs or passphrases, personal information and one-time passcodes highly vulnerable to being known by someone other than the account holder. Voice biometrics is susceptible to artificial intelligence fakes.

IDgo: Use a device consumers always have to authenticate: their unique mobile phone with an IDgo encrypted credential. No need to share answers to security questions, secret PINs or passphrases, personal information or one-time passcodes. No use of voice biometrics.
